What is a Diploma of Commerce?

A Diploma of Commerce prepares students for a professional business career and further study in business or accounting, by exploring a broad range of disciplines including finance, accounting, economics, quantitative methods, management and marketing.

Intakes and duration

  • Intakes: March, July, October
  • Duration: 8 or 12 months

Upon completion of the Diploma of Commerce

Graduates will be eligible to progress to a Bachelor of Accounting or a Bachelor of Business at Western Sydney University, Sydney City Campus.

Course structure

The course can be completed over two or three sessions. It comprises of core and elective units. Students will study 8 units in total from the list below, 7 core units and 1 elective units.
