Jobs are changing rapidly. This is something we talk about a lot at Year13. We’re not, like...scared or anything, but we’re definitely...wary.
Part of the problem is that there are plenty of university graduates who are unable to find employment after completing their degrees. On top of that, up to 40% of the jobs that are available now will soon become non-existent – potentially in 10 or 15 years. That’s pretty soon. And it’s a lot of jobs.
Basically, this means that a lot of new jobs will need to be created and we should probably start figuring out what these jobs will be and how we can prepare for them ASAP. It’s worth asking yourself: What jobs will be left when it comes time to start my career? Because you wouldn’t want to spend years and years studying only to be qualified for a job that doesn’t exist anymore, right?
Ducere’s Global Game Changers Program is the most pioneering thing in the education space at the moment. Ducere is a Global Business School with a massive focus on teaching the business concepts of the future job market.
The Global Game Changers Program combines online study with top of the line learning opportunities in the United States, China and South East Asia, meaning you’ll gain firsthand exposure to the world’s fastest-growing economies, and learn the critical skills necessary for success in a globalised and digitally-disrupted world.… all while earning your Bachelor of Applied Entrepreneurship OR Bachelor of Applied Entrepreneurship (Social Entrepreneurship)!
One of the major benefits is that Ducere’s degrees are mostly delivered online, meaning you can study from wherever you want, and fit the degree into your schedule where convenient. You don’t need to quit your job. You don’t need to move interstate. You can also complete your degree within 2 years, instead of the standard 3 or 4-year grind. So you save time, experience the innovation hubs in Asia and America AND get qualified.
During the Global Game Changers Program, you’ll gain access to interviews with over 250 Ducere Global Leaders, including former presidents, prime ministers, Nobel Prize winners, global humanitarians, CEOs, start-up pioneers and many more. HOLY MOLY.
Ducere are committed to making their courses focused around the practical skills necessary to succeed in both the business and startup sector, the very skills that the majority of university degrees don’t really give us. They have an array of well-recognised global leaders. Among them is our former Prime Minister Julia Gillard (who happens to be the Chancellor of Ducere).
