ANU Has A FOMO-Free Open Day
A huge part of your last year of high school is taking a look around at all the various open days, and seeing what different unis and courses have to offer. You get to speak to your future lecturers, meet some students and soak up the atmosphere as you imagine the memories you’re going to make out on the campus grounds. Let’s be real, it’s also a nice productive excuse to get away from your desk for a day or two and breathe a bit of fresh air.
Unfortunately, whether you’re stretched for time, a little far away or your travel options are a little, let’s say limited at the moment, it’s not always possible to attend all the open days you’d want to.
If you’re interstate, that might have meant missing out on ANU. Which would be a huge shame, because it’s ranked 1st in Australia by the QS World University Rankings. As well as having a world-class research output, they’ve got a great student/faculty ratio, plus great accommo options if you’re looking to move there to study.
Are you reading this and stressing that you’re going to miss out? Don’t worry - ANU has come out with a way for you to get all the info you need, with a high-tech hybrid open day on Saturday, the 14th of August. Basically, if you can make it in person, you can still see all the great stuff you’d normally get out of the ANU open day. You can attend sessions on programs you’re interested in, take tours around the buildings and get info about internships and double degrees.
If you’re looking to get the open day experience at home, all you have to do is pop some details in here, and they’ll give you access to a bunch of on-demand content. You’ll be able to check out videos packed with info about degree options, how admissions work, student life, and getting set up with accommo once you’re there. Plus, you can head over here for their live-stream, which will have some extra info as well. You can still learn about what ANU can offer you, right from the comfort of your very own home.
Does that sound up your alley? Make sure you check out their Open Day page for all the details. That August 14th date is coming up all too soon, so if you’re interested in showing up in person or logging in to get your info, get yourself signed up ASAP!
