Overview
  • With lockdown finally finished and overseas travel opened up to us Aussies, here are five flights cheap as chippies. ✈️
  • From Fiji ($408 return flights) to NZ ($372 return flights), here are five destinations with flights that won't force you to sell a kidney to afford. 🤑

Locky-D is over. Hooray!!! Now it's time to rally up the troops and get on a plane somewhere! But where are the cheapest flights going?

Obviously, flight prices can be pretty turbulent (sorry but that was an unreal pun), they go up, down and up again before you can say 'holiday', but as of today, the 2nd of November, these have been the cheapest flights I've found, courtesy of spending 24/7 on Skyscanner (in an incognito window!!! Hot tip!) Not to mention, airlines keep doing insane sales!! (I bought a flight to Hawaii for $350 with Jetstar...?!?!?!)

So whether you wanna yeet tf out of the country before the HSC creeps up on ya, you're keen to celebrate some end-of-year shenanigans with your mates or you're that close 🤏 to ditching your job/uni and becoming a nomad, we've gotcha covered 🥰✈️

1. Fiji

Lowest price: $408 return in February

It's a four-hour flight to Nadi Airport and then, you're in paradise. 😵‍💫😭 Fiji has something for everyone, whether you wanna have some R&R time on Natadola Beach or hike around Kula Wild Adventure Park. You could do a zip-line tour, snorkel with sharks or even skydive if ya wanted. 🌈

2. Singapore

Lowest price: $386 return in February

There's a hell of a lot to do in Singapore. Why not walk around the 9000 works of art in National Gallery Singapore or take a day trip to Pulau Ubin, a gorg island. 🏝️ And for $386 return, it's defs time to get this insane destination on your radar!

3. Honolulu, Hawaii

Lowest price: $471 return in March

Oiii... cya there?? Or should I say... Aloha. 🌺

As soon as I saw flights this cheap, I leaped on it with two mates. I cannot wait to see the world’s most active volcanoes, insane beaches, emerald valleys and golden sands!! Lilo and Stitch here I commeeee!

4. Bali, Indonesia

Lowest price: $545 return in March

Us Aussies froth getting sunburnt in our freshly purchased Bintang singlets and knock-off sunnies in Bali aye. But I mean, with beaches, temples, mountains, markets, galleries, lakes and ricefields, fair enough. Bali has it all! 🌊

5. Auckland, New Zealand

Lowest price: $372 return in late March (Jetstar has deals to Auckland rn!)

Why not pop over to visit our cousins in NZ? It's close enough to Aus to not be completely out of your comfort zone, but different enough for it to be a hell of a fun time! Why not hire a van and road trip around with some mates or hit up some extreme sports (like skydiving or white-water rafting). There are mountains, hikes, beaches, islands, cities, and national parks to die for. (Oh and Hobbiton!!)

Anyways, I'm keeping my eyes on flights to Europe and South America next. 👀 But for now, these destinations are calling my name.
