Need some inspo? Here are seven creative careers that are constantly growing, changing, and are suuuper in demand!

1. UX/UI Designer

You know when you’re cringing at a website because it’s impossible to navigate, the font is unreadable, there’s too much popping out at you and it’s just... UGLY??! That’s exactly what a UX/UI designer is there for. Making sure that DOESN’T happen. 

A UX/UI Designer is responsible for the design and implementation of a successful user interface. This often involves conducting user research to better understand how a consumer will interact with your site, and thinking about how best to layout, design, and arrange information.

2. Marketing Content Creator

If you’re a jack of all trades, this could be the creative job for you. Marketing content creatores wear many hats and is responsible for creating high-quality content to successfully reach and engage a company’s target audience. 

This could include blog writing, social media posts, videos, website content, marketing, sales materials, and more. It’s safe to say, you’d never be bored!

3. Graphic Designer

Graphic design is a super common and well-known career within the creative industry and continues to grow in demand. The duties of a graphic designer can differ from person to person but the ultimate goal is to express information clearly in a visually-interesting way. Essentially, they're making a viiiiiibe.

Graphic designers create graphics like illustrations, logos, and photos. They are the ones who typically design the layout and overall visual appearance of magazines, books, packaging, websites, and more.

If you’re creative and are a good leader, take a geez at the life of an art director.

Basically, art directors need a fair few design skills and a strong sense of what is going on in pop culture. They also need to know exactly what the brand they’re working for wants to convey in their campaign.

Art directors are one of the many moving parts in the world of advertising. They’re responsible for the overall visual aspects of advertising campaigns and aim to create unique and eye-catching media. They also make sure the campaign remains cohesive across all mediums, including print, social, outdoor, etc.

5. Brand Manager

Brand managers are responsible for the brand strategies and marketing programs of a specific product line or a business overall. They coordinate market research and pricing, product supply and sales, and product development to meet strategic business objectives.

Brand managers need to have strong writing skills, relationship management, and presentations abilities. Many brand managers have a degree in communications, marketing, or business.

6. Copywriter

Are you a good writer? Why not jump into the world of copywriting?!

Your main goal as a copywriter would be to create compelling content for marketing and advertising campaigns. 

Copywriters are responsible for writing anything from social media captions, headlines, and brochures, to TV commercial scripts, radio spots, and email marketing. They’re always wanting to create fresh content that’s relevant, unique and memorable. 

7. Video Game Designer

If you’re sick of getting yelled at by your ‘rents for spending too much time playing video games, why not get paid to make them?

Video game designers typically work within a team, coding elements of a game to create an interactive and playable experience. They generally assist with storyboarding concepts to create an engaging, original narrative; and may focus their coding on a specific aspect of gameplay, such as environments, characters, AI interactions, or animation.
