22 things I've learned about life from my 22 years on Earth.

Written by Naomi.

1.     Do every action out of love.

2.     Go outside every day.

3.     That ‘spark’ you’re searching for with someone, is actually not rare.

4.     As much as you think you know about someone or something, you will never know the full story. There’s always something to learn.

5.     You don’t have to like everyone and not everyone will like you. You do owe it to treat them with dignity and respect though.

6.     There’s no rush to do everything you want to do, but also why wait?

7.     Also, it’s never too late to start something or learn something new.

8.     You have to enjoy being alone. The only person that you will live your whole life with is yourself.

9.     The most important things on this Earth are our bonds and relationships with others. Hold onto those you love with everything you have to offer.

10.   You should never feel ashamed or guilty for struggling with your mental health.

11.   You should never feel ashamed for taking prescription medication for your mental health, and actually, it’s way more common than you think.

12.  The world can be a cruel place, so, therefore, you shouldn’t be.

13.  Even the people who seem like they ‘have it all figured out’ don’t. We are all experiencing being human for the first time.

14.  It doesn’t matter if you’re ultimately a good or bad person, all that matters is if you’re trying to be better than the person you were yesterday.

15.  Soul mates don’t exist. But if they do, they aren’t pre-planned, they’re made.

16.  Have trust in the universe.

17.  When something ends, it just means that something bigger and better is coming along.

18.  Manifestation works, ‘self-help’ podcasts and books don’t.

19.  Hope is a strong feeling, but it isn’t a bad thing until you set your expectations too high. Find the middle ground and stay there.

20.  The bad things that happened to you aren’t an excuse for your bad behaviour. Own up to your mistakes and learn from them.

21.  Never be afraid to use your voice.

22.  You matter and you can make a difference.
