When I finished school, I couldn’t wait to never see some of the same people ever again. Don’t get me wrong, finishing school is nostalgic and I shed a tear or two, but starting fresh at uni was what I thought would be a chance to start over.

Unbeknownst to me, I couldn’t properly escape people who witnessed me fumble through puberty, first kisses, flunked exams and some embarrassing af moments (who ever thought a side pony and rainbow headbands were a good idea?).

But what if there was a way to really start fresh with new people in a new place? Good news is - there is.

Moving for uni can give you the do-over you’re in need of with a change of scenery and leaving behind the people who made high school a living hell. This may seem daunting. But hear me out, because living away from home and closer to uni can be a blast but also super easy especially if you suss out Iglu Student Accommodation

When it comes to turning your uni experience into a new and unforgettable chapter of your life, Iglu has you covered. It’s basically moving out of home, but with hundreds of people your age who are ready for a cracker time - you can be whoever you wanna be and hang out with whoever you like!

So where can I go?

Brisbane: Say hello to bikini and boardshort weather all year round in Queensland’s capital. With two super convenient locations, it’s hard to live any closer to the action. Brisbane City sits in the heart of the CBD close to an abundance of unis and colleges such as QUT Gardens Point, University of Queensland and Griffith University. While Kelvin Grove is literally opposite QUT’s Kelvin Grove campus.

Melbourne: If you’re a coffee connoisseur, or are intrigued by the amazing street art and cultural diversity that Melbourne has to offer then you’ll love Iglu Melbourne City’s prime location on Franklin Street. An easy walk to RMIT, Melbourne University and many other city-based campuses. Iglu South Yarra is also a short 2 minute walk to trains linking students to the CBD and Monash University’s Caulfield Campus.

Sydney: If Sydney’s natural beauty and coastal metropolis somehow isn’t enough to make you pack your bags then wait till you hear about Iglu’s options. All five (yes, five!!!) options for incredible student accommodation are in the heart of the city and are in close proximity to Macquarie University, University of Sydney, University of Technology Sydney and soooo many other colleges.

But can I afford it?

Living off 2 minute noodles and $5 frozen pizza 5 days a week is the epitome of student life.

But with just one all-inclusive weekly fee, managing your budget while you study is made soooo much easier. At Iglu, in addition to fully-furnished living spaces and use of all communal facilities, your rent is inclusive of utilities as well as unlimited internet and access to 24/7 onsite support.

If your bags are already packed, hold on a sec because this deal is about to get sweeter...
