Follow your intrinsic passions and interests

This seems self-explanatory, but sometimes it’s not.

People tend to follow career paths based on ‘should’ not ‘want’. “I should study law because my parents want me to”. “I should pursue mathematics because I’m good at it, even though I hate it” …

When you’re pursuing a career that you’re passionate about, you’ll be far more ambitious and driven to get there! You’ll constantly be seeking internships, courses and connections to get from point A to point B and once you reach your career destination, you’ll feel fulfilled, inspired and motivated.

So, ask yourself. Am I really passionate about what I plan on pursuing?

Chasing employment you know will also be beneficial for your own journey and growth

Unless you can teleport, you can’t get to the top of the mountain without the trek.

Capitalise on the internet being at your fingertips and search for jobs and internships near you. Contact people in your dream profession!
