Here's The Ultimate Job If You Froth Summer (And Cash Too)
What time is it? Summer time! Schools out, scream and shout!
If you didn’t get the reference, it was 12 year old me’s dream to spend my summer working at Lava Springs Country Club with Troy and Gabriella in High School Musical 2. I know I’m not alone. Yes, it’s a cinematic masterpiece and I still have the hots for Zac Efron. But, I honestly just wanted to work poolside in the summer and earn some decent dosh.
Summer and the end of school is supposed to be the time of your life! But it’s a bit hard to live it up while you have $12 in your bank account and you're forced to eat baked beans on toast every day.
If you don’t fancy wiping tables or stacking shelves (who the heck does), you should seriously consider becoming a qualified swim teacher. You not only get to spend your summer in the pool, but you’ll also earn tonnes more money than working in any other hospo or retail job, even people who went to uni. On average you could earn up to 33 bucks an hour! Yeehaw!
Not only this, you’ll be making a huge difference to our communities by teaching a life skill. It’s also kinda like the perf student job?! Mostly being short early morning or late arvo classes, you have plenty of time to catch up on studies or enjoy your FREEDOM!
Summer is prime time for relocating and starting fresh. Lucky for you, there’s an abundance of jobs all around Australia waiting for you! You’ll make heaps of new mates, all while earning some new found independence!
Sounds like the dream right? Well hold onto ya hats cause if you froth summer, keeping cool and the idea of earning a bit of cash on the side, you’ll definitely wanna suss out all the courses on offer at AUSTSWIM.
