1) Promoter

The promoter is Year13 (ABN 93 606 583 706) of Level 4/80 Wentworth Ave, Surry Hills NSW 2010 (“Promoter”).

2) Promotion period

The promotion opens 23 June 2026, 12:01AM AEDT and closes 21 July 2026, 11:59 AEDT (“Promotion Period”).
Entries outside the Promotion Period will not be accepted.

3) Eligibility

Entry is open to Australian residents in all states and territories, including those who are under 18. Entrants must:

  • have a Verified Account with the Promoter (see clause 6); and

  • complete at least one Eligible Course during the Promotion Period.

  • have parent/guardian consent if under 18.

Directors, management, employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and associated agencies/providers connected with the promotion are ineligible.

4) Eligible Courses

The following Academy courses are eligible (“Eligible Courses”):

  1. FinLit Money Management

  2. FinLit First Gear Money - First Cars

  3. FinLit Ready For Take-Off Money - Travel

  4. FinFirsts Money - for Teens

An Academy course is deemed “completed” when it meets the Promoter’s completion criteria as recorded in the Promoter’s systems.

5) How to enter + entry limits

Eligible entrants receive entries automatically as follows:

  • 1 entry for each Eligible Course completed during the Promotion Period; and

  • maximum of 4 entries per person (i.e., up to one per Eligible Course completion).

Entries are linked to the entrant’s Verified Account and are not transferable.

6) Verification requirement (Verified Accounts)

To be eligible, entrants must be verified with the Promoter. For these Terms, a “Verified Account” means you have completed the email verification process.

If an entrant completes an Eligible Course but is not verified by the Promoter, the Promoter may deem their entry/entries invalid. The Promoter may request proof of identity/account ownership and may disqualify entrants who do not provide requested evidence within a reasonable time.

7) Prize

There is one (1) prize:

  • $500 Petrol gift card (or prepaid Mastercard equivalent)

Total prize pool: $500 AUD.

The gift card is subject to the issuer’s terms (including any expiry, fees, and usage limits). The Promoter is not responsible for conditions imposed by the issuer.

8) Winner determination

The winner will be determined by random draw from all valid entries.

Draw details: 28 July 2026, 12:00PM AEDT at Level 4/80 Wentworth Ave, Surry Hills NSW 2010
The first valid entry drawn wins.

9) Winner notification + publication

The winner will be notified via email within 5 business days of the draw.
The Promoter may publish the winner’s first initial, last name, and state/territory (or other compliant format) on the Year13 website and any email communications on 28 July 2026.

10) Prize delivery

The prize will be provided within 5 business days after winner verification and confirmation of delivery details.

11) Unclaimed prize

If the prize is not claimed by 14 August 2026, a redraw will occur on 17 August 2026, 12:00PM AEDT at Level 4/80 Wentworth Ave, Surry Hills NSW 2010 and the replacement winner will be notified in the same manner.

12) Disqualification

The Promoter may disqualify any entrant who:

  • is not eligible or not verified as required;

  • tampers with the entry process or platform;

  • submits fraudulent/misleading information; or

  • breaches these Terms.

13) Privacy

The Promoter will collect and use personal information to administer the promotion, contact entrants/winner, and deliver the prize, in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy: https://year13.com.au/privacy-policy

14) Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for loss or damage arising from the promotion or prize, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law.

15) General

  • The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash (unless required by law).

  • The Promoter may amend, suspend or cancel the promotion if required due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, subject to applicable laws.

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, and entrants submit to the jurisdiction of NSW courts.
