Description

This hands on practical course has been designed to provide Apprentices with a trade outcome in carpentry and joinery, covering work undertaken both in residential and commercial settings.

Note: Completion of a TAFE SA course does not guarantee an employment outcome. Formal requirements other than educational qualifications (eg licensing, professional registration), may apply to some occupations.

Qualifications & Skills Covered

Certificate III in Carpentry and Joinery (CPC32011)
This course covers tools and equipment, materials, demolition, communication, measurements and calculations, interpreting plans, scaffolding and safety. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 28 core units plus 4 electives.

Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
