The climate is changing, and we all have a role to play in creating a more sustainable future. This online course provides a pathway for students to develop their skills and knowledge around the concept of sustainability at a local, national and international level, as well as deepen their understanding of how sustainable living can be pursued by individuals across many aspects of their lives. It is also offered at no cost for eligible domestic students (see below).
By completing this course, students will gain a solid grasp of sustainability practices and how to apply their knowledge in their homes, their communities, or in commercial and social enterprises.
The Diploma of Sustainable Living curriculum includes a range of multidisciplinary subjects structured around five narratives that are linked to selected United Nations Sustainable Development goals. These goals encompass the following themes: sustainability at home, sustainability in the environment, sustainability as a social enterprise, sustainability to empower transformative change, sustainability and justice and, sustainability and human health.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants who have recently completed senior secondary studies but have not received an ATAR may still be eligible for admission. We will consider your study plan and subject results on a case-by-case basis when we assess your application.

SCHOLARSHIPS
The Diploma of Sustainable Living is designed to be accessible to a wide audience. To help enable this we have generous scholarships for eligible domestic students that mean the entire cost of the Diploma is covered by a scholarship.
All units studied as part of the Diploma of Sustainable Living with a census date prior to 31 December 2021 will be receive a 100% HECS (Higher Education Contribution Scheme) scholarship.
