Diploma of Science (Computing/IT) introduces you to computer science, software engineering, internetworking technology, computer security, information technology (IT) and other emerging fields.
All computing programs at ECU are developed in consultation with the IT industry and have received the Australian Computer Society’s highest level of accreditation (Level 1). ECU’s computing and cybersecurity graduates are actively sought by national and international employers, working in some of the world’s leading technology companies including Google, Facebook and Microsoft.
WHERE THE COURSE CAN LEAD YOU
This course will lead you into your second year of the following Edith Cowan University degrees:
- Bachelor of Computer Science (majors in: Cyber Security, Software Engineering)
- Bachelor of Information Technology
- Bachelor of Science (Cyber Security)
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Completed ATAR WACE subjects: Minimum ATAR 50 plus pass/C grade in English, or
- Completed General WACE subjects: Minimum 50% average in 4 Year 12 WACE subjects (excluding English) plus pass/C grade in English
