Applying for uni through UAC
You can apply for undergraduate and postgraduate (coursework) study through UAC if you are:
- an Australian or New Zealand citizen
- a permanent resident of Australia
- the holder of an Australian permanent resident humanitarian visa.
You can also apply for undergraduate study through UAC if you're an international student who has completed/is undertaking one of the following qualifications in 2019 or 2020:
- an Australian Year 12 in or outside Australia
- an International Baccalaureate Diploma
- a New Zealand National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) Level 3.
All other international students need to apply directly to the uni.

Click on the 'Apply or log in' button at the top right of the page and select the relevant application type. For a definition of each applicant type, go to Current Applicants.

If you are a current Year 12 student you will need your student number and PIN. If you are from NSW or ACT, UAC has issued your UAC PIN via email. If you are an Interstate Year 12 student you will still use your student number and your PIN will be the first four digits of your date of birth, DD/MM.
- Enter your personal details.
- Provide details of your studies and qualifications.
- Select your course preferences.
- Accept the applicant declaration and pay for your application. Your application is now complete.
- Log in to your application to keep track of its progress and to change your preferences if you want to.
- Log in to check your offers.
