And we all know that feeling of utter bliss when we prove them wrong and come out on top. This has been the case throughout Emily Duggan's career, who can now call herself Australia's leading female race car driver.

It's the case in the life of an apprentice, too. There's not much information out there and you'd be lucky if your teachers supported you in finding one. Yet for many of us, doing a trade is what we're made for.
