If you wanna stay active but dread the thought of kicking a soccer ball around or running 5 km, fear not! There are tonnes of alternatives for people who wouldn't describe themselves as "sporty" but still wanna get moving and have fun. Here ya go!

1. Hiking

Channel your inner "Into The Wild" by getting outside and exploring nature. The view from the top will be enough to keep you going. Bring some mates along to distract you from your huffing and puffing - you won't even notice that you're getting a workout in.

2. Yoga

Yoga has a multitude of benefits like improving flexibility and strengthening your body. It's relaxing, peaceful and can be at your own pace. If you're new, hop on Youtube and do a 'Yoga With Adrienne' challenge. She's a lord.

3. Dance

Whether it's Zumba, hip hop, or literally just cranking your favourite album and bopping around like a headless chicken, dancing is a perfect way to get your heart rate up.

4. Swimming

Swimming is low-impact and great for cardiovascular health. It also works your whole body, making it a suuuper effective workout for people of all fitness levels.

This is such a fun one and granola gals 'n guys are so in right now. 😉 Get a pair of Salomon shoes and pocket a few Nature Valley bars because it's time to scale some walls and obstacles. This will challenge you mentally and physically as well, making it a perfect workout.

8. Martial arts

Martial arts improve coordination, balance, and self-defense skills. You'll break up a sweat, make a tonne of mates and feel like Bruce Lee.
