Date Ideas You Have To Execute This Summer

What are summer vibes for without a cute date idea to execute? Whether you're on the hunt for a summer fling, or you're caught up on your high school crush and need some cute scenarios to romanticise, then here is a list of my best summer date ideas. I set you the challenge of achieving at least one of these by the end of Feb.

A day by the beach (dinner and drinks included if it goes well):

It’s summer, which means it only makes sense that you live out a dream date by the beach (it’s kinda giving High School Musical 2 - without the drama tho, and maybe keeping out the musical too).

This is a super cute date idea - probably perfect for a second date! We're talking about tanning (with SPF on of course), water fights, sand castles, and maybe a bit of boogie boarding. All things wholesome.

If the date goes to plan and both people are vibing then why not take the day into a dinner? There is nothing better than a cute dinner and drinks after a full day at the beach, looking all sun-kissed. This is honestly my ideal date.

A wholesome sunset picnic:

Park up at a headland, reverse the car to face the water, and have a picnic (sounds divine doesn’t it!?). Or, if you don’t want to do the dramatics of the car (trying to reverse into a parking space can be awkward), then just grab a blanket and hit the beach. You could even go for a sunset swim. Bring along the jumpers and hot chocolate in a thermos to warm you back up afterward. 

A classic dinner and movie:

This one is tried and tested, but if you're not vibing the cinemas then why not set up a movie night at one of your houses? Keeping it wholesome of course. Picture this: pillows, a projector, and popcorn.

Right now is the perfect time just before Christmas so you can whip out all the classics. IDK if Elf will be the most romantic but the Polar express is always a win. 

Explore a new place together:

A day of adventure is always a vibe. It’s all about the journey of finding the destination. This type of date is where the true personalities come to play and the two of you really get to know each other. If you can make it through the awful navigation without an argument then you are bound to have a divine day!

A prime example of this is a waterfall date. You can venture to a hidden waterfall (could also just be a cute waterhole or creek) and spend the day laying in the sun, swimming, chatting, and having a cute little picnic spread.

Sounds like an absolute dream. Hot tip for this one: keep an eye out for leeches and pls try to avoid snakes!

Go on a thrifting adventure:

Spend the day together on the hunt for some thrift finds. Create a hit list of all the op-shops and thrift stores to crash. 

You can find all types of things at these places - and this makes for great conversation starters. Another hot tip: to keep things fun, pick out a funny outfit for each other and have them try it on. If the other person can have a joke and not take themselves too seriously - you know that you've found a gem. Plus, you get to suss out their drip game.
