  • Beat the relentless beast that is the pandemic slump - taking care of yo'self, your mind and body by remembering the positives 🧘🏼‍♀️✨

If the panny-d is still making you feel bad, you're not alone. First it massively freaked us all out when it emerged 2020, then horror-inducing Delta swept through our population, and now our mate Omricon is making the rounds 🦠

Can I just say on behalf of us all: what the HECK, universe? On the surface, it might seem like you're just a bit tired, or not feeling up to socialising, studying or working as much as usual. But you might actually be suffering from pandemic fatigue 😩 So here are some ideas to try and spice things up a bit and perk up that brain!

Domestic travel, for the most part, is still a thing

Taking advantage of a trip to scenic Tassie ✈️, or staying within your state and exploring parts unknown (to you, at least) is a great way of having an adventure while staying safe and able to get home. It's cheaper, accessible and totally doable on the fly still.

Remember that this is temporary

Reminding yourself that things change all the time is super important for our fragile minds to remember. Things get better, worse, then better again. There is ALWAYS a light at the end of the tunnel and something to look forwards to. Feeling sad? Temporary. Overwhelmed? Also fleeting.

Go easy (like, actually) on yourself

If you don't feel like doing much rn, that's totally ok. Baby steps can offer some comfort, but I find the biggest help is actually giving yourself a break! It's a time of global crisis - so honestly, feel free to just take care of yourself the best way you can. Even if that means doing very little.

The above are by no means quick fixes, but remember this too shall pass, and you're just doing your best.
