At UNE you get more than a degree — you receive a complete university experience: a vibrant, supportive community; small classes; and access to expert lecturers.

This means that you get every opportunity to reach your full potential and get the very best start, plus some great memories along the way.

It’s why UNE is the only Australian public university awarded the maximum 5 stars for Overall Experience by The Good Universities Guide*, 20 years in a row.

Now, more than ever, UNE’s experience can help you respond to disruption, new technology, workplace changes, and new possibilities. It makes sense to study with a university that has a long history of helping people like you become future-fit.

Partner with a university that knows how to help you respond to a rapidly changing world.

About UNE

Established in the 1930s by the University of Sydney, UNE is the oldest university in Australia outside of a capital city and has a well-earned reputation as one of Australia’s great teaching, training and research universities.

Set on a spectacular 74 hectares and featuring the original homestead at the heart of the campus, UNE combines heritage with modern academic, sporting, recreational and accommodation facilities. UNE has a campus in Armidale and study centres in Parramatta, Taree and Tamworth, as well as several other locations throughout regional NSW.

Campus accommodation

UNE remains one of the few universities to provide the complete on-campus experience, combining affordability, student support and community, as well as extensive sporting facilities. UNE’s residential accommodation consists of eight colleges, including six traditional college residences, a village of self-contained units and 211 modern studio apartments. Each college has its own distinct character and all of them welcome students into friendly, inclusive and supportive communities.

Living on campus in UNE’s residential accommodation means that you will be conveniently located in the heart of UNE, close to classes, libraries, cafés, shops and SportUNE, and only minutes from the Armidale CBD.

Study online

We have a long history of helping adults respond to a rapidly changing world. And now, more than ever, it makes sense to study with a university that has a 70-year history of helping adults become future-fit while they study at home.

We now have more than 18,000 online students studying over 170 online courses. We provide 24/7 tutor support and even our exams are online. We have three teaching periods (trimesters), commencing in March, June and October — giving students greater choice about when and how much they study each year.

Pathways to Study

If it’s been a while since you last studied or if you don’t have entry qualifications, UNE offers a range of pathways to help get you on your way, including the Pathways Enabling Course, Science Pathways and TRACKS Tertiary Preparation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. The Pathways Enabling Course is studied fully online, has no tuition fees and will give you entry and credit to most undergraduate degrees at UNE.
For a complete list of more than 180 courses, or to apply now, visit studyat.une.edu.au or FREECALL 1800 818 865.
