The Civil Contractors Federation South Australia (CCF SA) is the peak industry and business association representing, promoting, protecting, connecting and training civil contractors.
The CCF SA has more than 500 Member companies and other organisations. These are both Contractor Members and Associate Members. Collectively CCF SA Members employ more than 25,000 South Australians.
Civil Contractors have business interests in Civil Construction which is a discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including public works such as roads, bridges, dams, airports, drainage and sewerage systems, pipelines, structural components of buildings, and railways.Civil contracting/construction is traditionally broken into a number of sub-disciplines.
Civil contracting/construction takes place in the public sector from municipal through to state and national governments, and in the private sector from individual homeowners through to international companies. Associate Members of the Civil Contractors Federation provide goods or services to Civil Contractors.
Civil Contractors Federation South Australia has direct relationships with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and a Group Training Organisation (GTO). This places CCF SA in a position of strength when advocating for, and supporting the civil industry with all of its needs from career commencement, career development and business support.
