The study of dance is a specialised discipline that combines the science of human movement with dance instruction. The dance course revolves around two major strands, Dance as Artform and Dance and the Industry; the balance of the degree is structured around Supporting Studies (Anatomy and Physiology, for example), as well as Problem Based Learning (PBL), and Practical Experience.
A typical Bachelor of Applied Dance is a 3 year full time commitment and a Bachelor of Dance Education is a 4 year full time commitment.
A typical pay for a graduate full time teacher, with minimum 5 years of experience is between $50,000 +
